First off, I'm sure most of you are familiar with Caudalie's Beauty Elixir by name if nothing else... I was insanely excited about this spray back in the day, but the excitement faded once I realised it was doing nothing good for my face. Now it sits unloved, reserved for travelling (apparently all it's good for is keeping you fresh on the go).
Then we move on to Le Blanc de Chanel, which doesn't really seem to do anything a good moisturiser couldn't... Meant to act as a primer, I just don't get this guy. Plus I'm concerned this may be the product that is breaking me out at the moment... I will be sure to report back if it really is!
The third in this line up is the latest, a points purchase from Boots, the Benefit Hydra-Smooth Lip Colour in Dare Me. I don't hate the formula of this one - I wore it with lip liner in this video if you are interested - but the packaging is so impractical, shaped so weirdly that you can't help but get lipstick all down the side of the bullet... not cute Benefit, not cute.
Next we're talking nails and a polish that was all shade no formula... I've waxed lyrical about my appreciation for Clinique Black Honey Gel Liner, but my affection falls majorly short for the Black Honey Nail Polish. What were Clinique up to with charging £12 for this cr*p? Lasts about as long as an English summer guys. 0/10.
Last of the lot is a cult that I feel guilty bashing, but also feel an obligation to balance the score.... I'm talking about Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in Boy. If my memory serves me rightly, Fleur de Force wore this on her wedding day but should someone ever erroneously propose to me, this will not be on my smackers at the altar. The formula. As moisturising as a Turkish summer guys. A stylish bullet and pleasing shade cannot make up for the fact I prefer the Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Sticks over this.
I'm curious what you beauties think, in the event you've tried these? Am I right in my rage? Let me know down below... and of course tell me about anything else I should avoid!
